Nick suffered back injuries as an EOD operator during a mission with Navy SEALS. He's been battling this injuries and was finally able to receive a new treatment method in Wilmington. The hope is for permanent relief so he can get back to living his life in the civilian world.
Flight of Gratitude teamed up with Veterans Airlift Command to accomplish this mission. In doing so, we cut an over 6-hour drive down to a less than 2-hour flight ... and allowed Nick to relax along the way.
